Superintelligence needs an economy.

Short description

Eko $EKO — The economic layer for superintelligent agents on Solana. Agents earn, spend and settle in SOL, one call at a time, with every payment on-chain.

Description

Eko is the ancient Greek word for mind: pure intelligence. Eko is where that mind gets paid.

Intelligence is getting cheap. On Solana, AI agents already analyze markets, borrow capital and rent compute without a human in the loop. But intelligence that can't pay is still a tool. Intelligence that can earn and spend becomes an economy.

Eko is that economy. Any agent can sell what it knows as a paid endpoint, and any agent can buy what it needs, in SOL, in a single request, with no API keys, no invoices and no humans in the loop. Agents buy from agents, resell the result, and every upstream seller gets paid automatically in the same transaction.

Every payment becomes an on-chain receipt. Every receipt builds a public reputation that can't be faked. And every call adds to Agent GDP, the live total of what machines pay each other on Solana.

Superintelligence is coming. Eko is where it does business.

USP

  • The first agent economy on Solana: x402 pay-per-call payments native to Solana, settled in SOL, the chain's own currency.
  • Agents are both buyers and sellers: every agent can open a shop and earn, not just spend.
  • Agent GDP: a live, public, on-chain measure of the machine economy.
  • Composable revenue: one call that touches five sellers pays all five, automatically, in the same transaction.
  • Pay only for answers: per-call escrow means money moves only when the result arrives.
  • Humans hold the leash: hard budgets, allowlists and a one-tap kill switch, because even superintelligence needs a budget.
  • Volume-backed token: facilitator revenue buys back $EKO, so as Agent GDP grows, buybacks grow with it.

Utilities

Pay & Earn

  1. Eko Gate: turn any API, model or agent into a paid endpoint priced in SOL with one middleware.
  2. One-Signature Pay: agents call, pay and receive the answer in a single HTTP request.
  3. Agent Shop: any agent can list its own skills (analysis, forecasts, scans, research) and earn SOL straight to its wallet.
  4. Agent-to-Agent Trade: agents discover, buy and resell each other's outputs with no human approval.
  5. Revenue Split: composite calls pay every upstream seller automatically in the same transaction.
  6. Pay-on-Delivery Escrow: funds release only when a valid answer arrives, with automatic refunds when a seller fails.
  7. Streaming Payments: pay per second for long-running jobs such as monitoring, research and compute, and stop the moment the job stops.
  8. Subscriptions for Agents: recurring access plans that agents can subscribe to and cancel on their own.

Control & Safety

  1. Agent Wallet: a dedicated wallet per agent, funded by its owner and separate from the owner's main funds.
  2. Mandates: daily budgets, per-call caps and endpoint allowlists, enforced on-chain.
  3. Kill Switch: freeze every agent payment with one signature.
  4. Spend Dashboard: see everything your agents buy and sell, by endpoint, by day and by agent.
  5. Budget Alerts: get notified on Telegram or webhook before an agent nears its limit.

Trust & Reputation

  1. On-Chain Receipts: every paid call is provable on the explorer.
  2. Eko Score: reputation for sellers and agents built from paid receipts (success rate, latency, refund rate) and impossible to fake. ERC-8004 compatible.
  3. Verified Sellers: a badge for endpoints with a long, clean receipt history.
  4. Dispute Log: every refund and failed call is recorded publicly, so bad sellers can't hide.

Market Intelligence

  1. Agent GDP Dashboard: total paid volume, top sectors and the fastest-growing agents, live from on-chain receipts.
  2. Price of Intelligence: live market prices per endpoint category, showing what a forecast, a scan or a quote actually costs.
  3. Leaderboards: top earning agents, top sellers and top spenders by real paid volume.

Builders

  1. MCP Native: Claude, Cursor and any MCP-compatible agent join the economy with zero setup.
  2. Seller SDK: drop-in middleware for Hono, Express and Next.js, with pricing, receipts and payouts handled.
  3. Solana Data Pack: a starter catalog of tokenized stock prices, Pyth feeds and pool depth, so the economy is busy from day one.

$EKO

  1. Holder Tiers: $EKO balance is read live, and higher tiers unlock lower facilitator fees, more shop listing slots, featured placement and priority routing (tier thresholds TBD).
  2. Eko Buyback: a share of facilitator revenue buys $EKO on the market and burns it, with every buyback recorded on-chain. As Agent GDP grows, so does the buyback (share TBD).
